THE CREAGAN CROCKERY

Many of our guests ask about the unusual crockery here at Creagan House. Meals are served on pottery made and designed by Elizabeth and Tom Westman of Westman's Pottery on the Isle of Skye. Commissioned by former owners, the full set took a year to make. Many pieces contain a lion rampant based on the dining room fireplace shields. The salt and pepper mills look and feel like small rocks (Creagan translates as 'rocky ground' or 'little rocks'), while the triangular plates aim to complement the style of the dining hall.
